Konnect Contributor Agreement for new contributors, version 1.1
1. Who. This agreement is between you and Orchis.ai LLC ("Orchis"). It covers everything you contribute, from the date you sign, to Konnect and to Konnect-EDA, Orchis's continuation of it, wherever their code is kept: for example github.com/mixelpixx/Konnect, or a repository of Orchis.ai LLC.
2. The license you give. You give Orchis, and anyone it passes Konnect or Konnect-EDA to, a permanent, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, copy, change, distribute and sublicense your contributions. That includes releasing them under the GNU Affero General Public License and under other terms, including commercial ones.
3. Patents. If you hold patent rights that your contributions would infringe, you give the same people a matching patent license for those contributions.
4. What you keep. You keep the copyright in your contributions, and you can use them however you like. Konnect versions already released under the AGPL stay available under it.
5. What you confirm. Your contributions will be your original work, or you will have the right to submit them. You will make them on your own computer, on your own time, and from a personal email address and GitHub account, never a company one. If an employer or client could have rights in work you create, you have said so on the sign-up form, and you will tell Orchis before contributing if that changes.
6. Credit. Orchis will credit you the way you choose on the sign-up form.
7. No obligations beyond this. Orchis does not have to add you as a contributor or use your contributions. You give them as they are, with no warranty, and you are not committing to any future work.
8. Signing. Typing your name and pressing Sign is your electronic signature. You get a copy of this agreement and your answers by email.
